Albert Lopez

Albert is passionate about leveraging innovative approaches to improve social well-being and health. With a strong sense of social responsibility, he has contributed to volunteer projects with Akoma Hearts of Ghana, helping to digitalize patient records in a hospital.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Systems Engineering from UPC and a master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Biomedical Engineering from UB in Barcelona.

Albert worked for two years at DyCare as a signal processing and algorithm engineer, developing a telerehabilitation platform. He then spent three years at the Zentrum für Experimentelle Neurologie (ZEN) as a data analyst, contributing to sleep research and co-authoring publications, including C. Czekus et al. (Molecular Psychiatry, 2022).
