Sarah Cabot

Sarah Cabot is President of Cabot Law and a former executive in the Biotechnology industry. She specializes in corporate and transactional law for life sciences companies and has over three decades of experience, having handled some of the most complex discovery and development collaborations, product commercialization alliances, and technology platform licenses in recent years.

Cabot established Cabot Law in 2014, after years as a partner at the boutique Faber Law Group and at Mintz Levin, a large Boston-based law firm. She has held legal and technology management positions in start-up and development-stage companies including Microbia, Inc. (now Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Inc.), where she was Vice President, Legal Affairs; DNX, Inc., where she was Director, Corporate Development; and Centocor, Inc. (purchased by J&J), where she was Director of Corporate Technology Affairs.

Cabot was a longtime member of the MIT Sloan Dean’s Advisory Council and North American Executive Board, and has been a member of the Licensing Executives Society since 1986. Cabot is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
