Wilson Bright Nyansah is a seasoned pharmacist and business leader with over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry across Africa. He has led multinational companies in bringing innovative healthcare solutions to African patients. His diverse roles in operations, sales, supply chain, marketing, global market access, and policy have driven advancements in medicine and improved healthcare access.
Wilson is committed to ensuring no patient is left behind due to financial status or geographical location. He has witnessed the severe impact of diseases like cancer, diabetes, and infectious diseases, but also the transformative power of breakthrough medicines. He champions efforts to reduce the time and cost of delivering innovative healthcare solutions to Africa and LMICs through efficient strategies and supply chains.
Starting his career at Sanofi, Wilson enhanced healthcare professionals’ understanding of therapeutic solutions. At Roche, he played a key role in improving access to oncology medicines and diagnostics in Africa and later worked on the Global Roche Neuroscience and Rare Disease program in Basel, Switzerland.
Wilson holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and an MPhil in Pharmacology from KNUST, an MBA from the University of South Wales, and various certificates from INSEAD and the University of Washington. He enjoys traveling, exploring cultures, spending time with family, and is a passionate football fan.
